Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence
A Japanese manufacturing-excellence institute at Neemrana.
The Daikin Japanese Institute of Manufacturing Excellence is arranged as discrete white blocks set along a landscaped spine, with the large production shed held to one side. Separating teaching from making lets each take the structure and servicing it actually needs, and gives the campus a quiet, ordered frontage rather than presenting an industrial volume to the approach.
Built for Daikin India Pvt. Ltd. across a two-acre site, with 70,000 sq.ft of construction and a project cost of Rs 20 cr.
The palette is deliberately plain — render, glazing and a dark standing-seam roof — so the discipline of the plan carries the architecture. Completed.
